9th and 23rd Aug Gloves on. Be more Earps. Upcoming GK training with Jack.

Sunday 13 August, Hastings For those who can't make the whole tour but want to go to Hastings on Sunday 13 August for the day, we will meet up with the rest of the tour there. Hoping for good weather, football, spikeball, picnic on the beach! Catching the 10.15 from London Bridge direct to Hastings station. It's a short walk to the beach or you can bring bikes on the train. Heading back is flexible - some are taking the 18.27 back to London Bridge. Please note you'll need to book your own train tickets. RSVP on TeamApp pls!

Sunday 20 August Football is coming homo. What better way to celebrate the queerest World Cup to have ever taken place than with each other at the final?! We have got a beautiful screening with GDFC + pals happening at The Yard (Hackney Wick). You're welcome to bring friends and snacks - the bar will be serving drinks (non-alc before 12 and a mix of non-alc and alc after). Doors open from 10.30. KO 11.00. Everyone is invited to stay around after and celebrate women's football. After the game the space will be open to the public. The Yard will have some cool beer companies coming by so there will be plenty to sample while celebrating. RSVP on TeamApp pls!

Saturday 30 September It's the return of MOZF, back to our spiritual home: The Yard. More info to follow soon - this is just an internal note to our members to keep your calendars clear and start practicing your best football themed dance moves. Please note: we're largely using the results of the poll we did after the last MOZF (as well as looking to other queer club nights guidance and research) to help guide the organising team with putting on this event and creating a new safer spaces policy. If you have anything you would like to add/you think would be useful please get in touch on TeamApp or email We will soon be looking to book DJs, etc, so if you think this event could be your time to shine with whatever skill you have to bring to the table, drop a line!

This section is reserved for anyone in the club who has stuff they want to share (job posting, events, other cool opportunities -- whatever!) If you ever want to add anything to this section just email and put 'NEWSLETTER' in the subject line.

"A passionate football player, Lara Goodwin felt compelled to give up their favourite sport when they came out as gay. Sexism and homophobia meant the footballing world just didn’t feel safe. Here Lara explains how finding a queer-friendly club has been a game-changer and why football urgently needs to become more inclusive." ❤️❤️⚽⚽

My name is Joey and I'm a Casting Assistant Producer working on the football quiz show Fando Football! We're looking for passionate Liverpool, Everton, Manchester City and Fulham superfans to go head-to-head against their local rivals to compete for a large cash prize. I wondered if any of the players at Goal Diggers FC who support these teams would be interested and up for the challenge? We're looking for big personalities, plenty of banter and first-rate footy knowledge. If you're unfamiliar with the show, presenters Spencer Owen and Chelcee Grimes test our teams' expertise across a series of fun games and challenges. The show is on a digital platform and you can find a link to our pilot episode here: If anyone is interested, they can apply through the link here

Drenched but smiling! ❤️
