She’s working on a tight budget, so any help you can offer (organising, delivery, etc.) would be super appreciated. If you're keen to pitch in, give Becky a shout!
FUNDRAISING QUEER SPORTS ZINE
We’re collaborating with six other awesome queer sports clubs that share our ethos of “availability, not ability” and inclusion for all in sport. This includes Knockout, Queer Surf Club, Queer Running Club, Queers on Wheels, and Queer Climbers LDN.
Together, we’re working on a zine that will raise funds for Mermaids. It’ll feature photos of members (if you’d like to be involved, let us know!), Q&As with organisers, and a manifesto about what inclusive sports spaces can look like. Expect some fun social crossovers and a big end-of-year celebration too!
