PITCH PITCH PITCH FRINGE FRINGE FRINGE PITCH IS GOING TO EDINBURGH FRINGE (baby)! And we would love YOU to get us there! Join November Theatre and the Pitch team for a night of cheeky behaviour in an effort to raise some cash for our half time oranges. You can expect drag, cabaret, comedy, and a REALLY GOOD RAFFLE. Shirts off for a yellow card, spilled pints for the victors and an evening of dancing even the ref can’t keep up with. Featuring: Jo Griffin, Aiden Strickland, R Graham and MANY more incredible acts!

Raising money for: Pitch (working title) is a show about Football and the LGBTQIA+ community. In the wake of the controversial Qatar World Cup and eagerly awaiting the 2023 Women’s Tournament, Pitch will bring together a diverse group of queer artists and present a collage of historical and present day queerness in relation to football. The show would be a devised piece, with a documentary focus - created from interviews, objects and stories that emerge from the whole team training together as a 5-a-side squad as part of developing the show. The audience will watch us play (some of us for the first time), listen to us give a voice to those who couldn’t and still can’t be proud, ask why 30% of football fans admitted they’d find two men kissing at a match uncomfortable and help us imagine a future in which queer presence in football is more than just a debate over a rainbow armband. There's a special discount code for the teams we've interviewed which can be found HERE. There are also tickets available HERE for those who are unwaged/low income & also those who want to pay it forward and help add some more pennies to the show jar!

MONDAY GOALPOSTS LEAGUE (from a couple of weeks ago but still worth a shout out)

In Monday night's SZN 5 a side game against Hackney cubs, Deniz, Georgia, Hannah H, and Abi all found the net with fantastic goals. The game was fueled by incredible build-up play and remarkable on-field chemistry. Hannah Dinz wowed with her stellar defence and forward-thinking passes, earning her the fans player of the match title. Meanwhile, Georgia, captain's player of the match, showcased her versatility, making crucial saves as goalkeeper, delivering pinpoint passes from the back, and providing stellar assists on the pitch. GDFC won the game 4-0.

Your regular Tuesday goals did not disappoint on Monday in Finsbury. A beautiful 10-0 win, we played excellently.
