MONDAY NIGHT TALKS + CLASSES
TONIGHT: Palestine 101 with Flora Levi and Hilary Aked
This session will provide an overview of the current situation in Israel/Palestine, focusing on human rights, and give a potted history of how it got to this point, emphasising Britain’s historic role and ongoing complicity. We will define and explain terms like Zionism, Nakba and apartheid, and – at a time when Israel is planning to annex the occupied West Bank – we will look at what the future may hold.
