No interaction required (unless you really want to!)”.

GOALS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN

We’re looking for #QuarantineGoals who might be interested in doing an Instagram takeover. Message Jess Keating if you are keen!

Murder On Zidane’s Floor: Queerantine Edition launched last night with a bang! It was an absolute JOY to host almost 60 homes and come together virtually in the name of MOZF. Massive shoutout to DJ Brexit Bardot (Chloe Kraemer) and DJ Matilda Chez (Polly Simpson) for bringing us tunes all night long (including an extra unplanned hour!!), and to Kitchen Twink (Georgia Bruce) for being our stunning MC. Huge thanks as well to the Mod team: Beth Miles, Saba Husain, and Jess Keating.

Thank you also to everyone who donated to NHS Charities Together. If you want to make a last minute donation, you can do so here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/murder-on-zidanes-floor

We’ll be back on Saturday 9 May, so whack it in your diaries! We’ll be fundraising for Hospice UK. Stay tuned for the registration and donation details.

COMMUNITY CORNER

You may have heard that some frontline NHS staff are facing shortages of masks, gowns etc. In the community corner section of the newsletter would it be possible to include a call to encourage companies / orgs / institutions people work for or know of to donate any idle masks, gowns, gloves, eye protection and other personal protective equipment (PPE) for frontline NHS workers via Med Supply Drive UK? Website: http://www.medsupplydrive.org.uk

Any GDFC members who are frontline staff can also request PPE via this link: https://www.medsupplydrive.org.uk/make-a-request

Eleanor Trezise a volunteer with them and they recently hit the milestone of getting 50,000 items of donated PPE to frontline staff so hopefully it’s making some difference.

If you have anything you would like to feature in next week's newsletter, email press@goaldiggersfootballclub.com by 12:00 Sunday.
