The next block of Tuesday 7s games is starting this week. This week is open to all but please purchase this league in the Store to get access to these games!

Paula has secured us a weekly 8-9pm slot at the Mile End 5-a-side pitches. We will be hosting weekly friendlies (alternating ability). More info will come on Thursday and you'll be able to buy access!

Just to remind you, as soon as it's 7, get on the pitch and get ready to go:

7:00-7:15: small square possession game, up to 5 v 5 players, all abilities together, 10 passes = 1 goal!

7:15-7:20: split into training groups and do a dynamic warm-up and names & pronouns while you stretch

Big thanks to Martha who has been involved in user research for Nike on behalf of the club for the past few weeks and donated all their earnings to GDFC. We really couldn't run without our volunteers.

Big thanks to Gaia who secured a €1000 grant from Adidas and Fare.

All this money goes into subsiding GDFC as much as possible so that everyone can play.

We have entered a team into Queerspace FC and Clapton CFC's Queer Tournament on the 8th May. It's a 6-aside tournament open to all abilities and genders. It's to raise money for the Outside Project, London's LGBTIQ centre, shelter and domestic abuse refuge. The day tournament will be held on a grass pitch at Clapton CFC's grounds, the old spotted dog ground (the oldest ground in London).

Event is on the app - sign up!

Couple goals. Double player of the day for Anna and Ally. They did the first stint on the subs bench and when they came on made such a difference! Anna with goal and Ally with 2 assists in a hard fought 2-2 draw.

Congrats to Ciara and Flo for this week's POTM!

Gorgeous gorgeous vibes at a sunny Sunday 7s. Captain Cara with POTM Sarah at Intermediate 7s!

It was the week of the keepers at Sunday 5s with an incredible performance from both Robyn (Legends) and Saba (All Stars). From incredible leaps through the air from Saba to unbelievable reflexes from Robyn - both keepers very literally kept their teams in the game. Amazing to see. Fantastic play!

Captain Isy picked the one and only Emma Levin for incredible play and silky shots. We love to see it. We also love to see GDFC debut's - so a huge shout out to Mira who played amazingly too. If you're tempted to join Beginners 5s - please do. It's so much fun and an amazing place to improve you're footie.
