COACHING CORNER
Make sure you’ve had a look at Coach Ciara’s kick up tutorial to help keep your touch going during this time off. Get practicing, and try to beat your score every time you have a go. If anyone can catch Ciara up, I’ll buy you that number of beers when pubs are open again.

We cannot recommend watching football enough. Pick a random old game, or your favourite game from this season, and watch it. Take notes on the players who play your position(s), and think about how what they’re doing fits in with the team’s tactics. What are their strengths? What are their responsibilities? What would you give them /10?
Have a think about all the football terminology we use at Goal Diggers, and make a list of any words you’re unsure about e.g. press, clip, switch, drop, set. Send them through to us, and we’ll incorporate them into the tidily named: The Goal Diggers Football Club Anthology of Footballing Terminology
