UEFA A Coached training session (Wednesday 26th)
We’ve been asked to provide some players for an upcoming coach training opportunity by the Amateur Football Alliance. This is an opportunity for some of our members to be trained by a UEFA A Licence Coach, and we're taking part as we’re currently looking for some new coaches to promote our club.
The session is Wednesday 26th from 7 to 9 pm at the Arsenal Hub, and they’re looking for around 12 players. It’s open to all abilities, and the post will go up Tuesday the 18th at 19:30.
Regular training (& keeper training) will still be on in Haggerston!
NEW MEMBERS KIT INFO
Hello to all our lovely new members! We have got your initial kit info and as we will be placing an order at the end of Jan, so please keep an eye out for notices for collection in Feb!
NEW BEGINNERS LEAGUE
We're so excited to be offering a FREE beginners league. The aim is to get newer members some experience playing in leagues with GDFC.
Following our survey, we have decided to join a Monday night league. The league is 10 weeks long, starting on Monday 24th January. It's on the astro-pitches approx. 2 mins from Whitechapel Station. This is an FA affiliated league which means that there may be some unfair requirements for some of our trans & non-binary players that want to play. Please get in touch with Gaia on TeamApp if you want more info regarding this & for any help.
You'll be managed by our lovely members Hannah Wallace & Hannah-May and Lara will also be helping out as she does her coaching qualifications!
The post will go up on Thursdays at 5.30pm, we will take 6 outfield players and a Goal Keeper. First to RSVP on the app can play. See you on the pitch!
