We’ve got a very exciting mixed ability derby on Saturday on Hackney Marshes, still plenty of spots left, the event is up on the app, so please get involved, it should be a great time!
TRAINING
Fleur and K8 are pleading for equipment carrying help.
They are happy to store the 4 x ball bags, the pumps & all the cones but they need help carrying everything to training as it's just the one & only Alex Rawn helping atm.
As of September, Emily & Dora are moving to Brighton for a year, so it will just be Kate & Fleur at Moye Close which means they will always need at least two lovely helpers.
If you can help carry equipment from Moye Close to training, help store equipment because you live close to training or help pump balls before training please contact Fleur Cousens or Kate Allinson!
THURSDAY FOOTBALL
Our Thursday sessions have moved! They will now take place at Britannia Leisure Centre’s brand new 3G rooftop pitches from 19.45 - 21.00. The address is Pitfield St, London N1 5FT, UK.
Please help us spread the word about our Thursday sessions. Many of our players hear about the sessions from social media - just one tweet or IG post can help get someone new into football.
CLUB SEC ROLE
After a year as Club Sec Millie will be stepping down from the role so we are looking for a wonderful new Club Sec. This position is one that requires a relatively high commitment level (2-6 hours a week) but can also be very rewarding as it is a key decision making role in the club. There will be a 1 month handover period to support the new club sec with the role. Please email info@goaldiggersfootballclub.com if you are interested in applying or have any questions. We will be closing this role on the 22nd of August.
BIKE WE CAN BORROW?
Hello, we’re looking for a bike to help one of our members get to training & matches more easily. If anyone has a spare bike that they are willing to lend for a few months / one they no longer need (we can get it serviced!), please let Gaia know. Thanks!

Thank you to everyone who filled out the doodle poll to help us identify the best date/time for us to meet - the most popular slot proved to be 7.00 - 8.30am this coming Thursday, 19th August so please put this in your diaries!
Please keep an eye on Team App - we will be creating an event with Zoom link and further details. If you weren’t able to complete the doodle but would still like to attend or your availability has since changed and you can now make this slot, please do come along.
