PLAYER SHOUT-OUTS
MONDAY 5s
Despite a 3-0 loss in Monday 5s we’re still clinging to the league top spot (so no pressure for our last match next week). POTM was Freya for her persistence on the pitch and digging deep in a tiring second half. Well played team! Was a pleasure.
GOALPOSTS LEAGUE
Another tense game at Stratford! The goals were calm and collected against a really strong attack. Every goal on the pitch was involved and we gave ILY FC a real challenge. A HUGE shout out to two POTM - Keeper Rachel who made some truly incredible saves, and the wall at the back aka Georgia Gilling. We didn’t win this game at 4-2 but we should all be proud of our team work!
ADVANCED 7s
Player of the week for Advanced 7’s goes to Coach (or in this case player) Amy! She played all over the pitch and really pushed the team on with great encouragement and communication.
Shout out to the entire Advanced 7’s team for a great showing and the whole team stepped it up their first Win of the season and didn’t lose either game - 4 points on the board this week!
