Good luck to everyone playing in fixtures this week! Remember - you can always message the coaches with any questions you have about your development as a footballer. We’ll always do our best to make time for you :)
Special shout out from Josh to everyone who trained on Saturday. Thanks for working hard, and putting in the time on a Saturday when there were no fixtures scheduled.
TRAINING NOTICE
If you play matches with the beginners, either at 5s or 11s, we strongly recommend you train in the beginners group on a Wednesday. This is for three main reasons:
You’ll get more time on the ball in the sessions
You’ll get more opportunities to try out playing different positions in matches
You’ll more quickly build up chemistry / on pitch understanding with the players you play with on a matchday
As always, message one of the coaches if you’re not sure which group you should be training with.
Josh will be at Whittington Park on Tuesday for 7s. Amy and Ciara will be at training on Wednesday. This week is the last week in our six-week training block, so get excited for some fun and games.

We are looking for advanced / intermediate players to join a voluntary managers group to help manage and support with the Thursday/Thursday beginners Super5s games and Sunday beginners 7/5aside LaLiga games. If you are keen, please let Ciara Robinson know via the chat function on the app.

The Festival of Football is back! As part of Football v Homophobia’s Action Month, the Festival is teaming up with Football v Homphobia and anti-discrimination organisation Fare to put on an exciting event.
