We won FA club of the month (woo) and as a result we’ve been gifted a bunch of lovely Adidas Size 4 footballs, which are perfect for practicing your footie skills in your own time. So if you’d like a football please message the wonderful Kate Allinson via Team App chat and she will give you one at training this week.
NAMES & PRONOUNS
A reminder to all goals to listen carefully when people are introducing themselves and to respect players’ names & pronouns. You should use the name they give and if you aren’t sure how to pronounce it, please ask them to clarify it.
Also remember to use gender neutral language from the pitch to the pub!

We had a great friendly with Soho FC this week & we will hopefully be continuing these kickarounds with Stonewall FC & Queerspace FC in the next few months! Thanks to Gaia for organising these friendlies.
We also have our mixed ability members only kickaround NEXT Thursday (17th June). These sessions provide a great opportunity for all members of all abilities to enjoy a match style game within a friendly environment.
The sign up post for this will be TOMORROW (Monday) at 5.30pm - this is to give all members enough notice & enough time to register their interest.

NEW EXCITING COMMITTEE ROLE: CLUB PRESIDENT
After almost six years of work for GDFC, Founder Fleur has decided that at the end of this membership block (July) she is going to step down from the committee. This is in order to create room for an elected version of her role - this will be a Club President role. The Club President Job Spec is attached.
