LEAGUE INFO
BIG thanks to Hannah-May for taking over the Mondays & Mile End. We've had a lot of feedback that you're all enjoying this and so we are extending our booking. If you know any teams that share a similar ethos to GDFC, please pass them onto Hannah-May or our head of fixtures Paula!

Hope you all enjoyed the summer tournament last week. Regular training is back on this week!

SOCIAL LEGENDS
Socials update>> A huuuuge shout out to everybody who has been coming to socials recently, especially new members! It's also fun to see members initiating their own socials.
We have a budget for minoritised groups to do their own thing, e.g the trans+ dinner we are having on the 10th July, so if you'd like to organise your own one of these then get in touch. Likewise any ideas you have for events to go to or socials you'd like to help make happen then let us know! big socials love xx
There's a big weekend of socials with Portugoals on Friday, trans pride on Saturday and trans & non binary dinner on Sunday! Join the cult see you at them all x

SHOUT-OUTS
CLUBS UNITED GOALS A delightful sunny Tuesday game! We we're down 2-1 for most of the game and then a stunning set of goals in the last few minutes got us the win! Well done to all.
Captain Sam's player of the match was Millie and the fans player of the match was Sam!

WHITTINGTON PARK TOURNEY
What can we say? A wild ride at Whittington Park! The potm had to go to Louise for an insane keeping effort that got us to the final with all clean sheets. Oh and she saved THREE BLOODY PENS!

WEDNESDAY TRAINING
Training tournament was pretty special. Well done to all involved and Kate & Lara for a gorgeous assist + shot!

SUNDAY FOOTBALL
All Stars POTW was Lotte Bridgham. She never stopped running, made brave tackles and, as always, scored some stunning goals to help us get that coveted 3rd place finish.
Love you All Stars ️
Both leagues restart on July 10th (and lasts until mid Oct!) - so pop the date in your diary now and keep your eye on the store for the league purchase.
