COACHING CORNER
Our Thursday sessions are up and running, and the coaches want to take this opportunity to thank Dora 'Walterpam Ferris' Dixon for coaching the first session last week. You did a fantastic job, and set the tone for how we want to attract new players into football 👏👏👏
For those of you looking to get into coaching, message the coaches to chat about ways to do that.
Please make sure you're mentioning our Thursday sessions when you're talking about the club - it's something we're really keen to grow.
This Wednesday we'll be working on creating and exploiting overloads, as well as dribbling & carrying the ball.
Ahead of training, look for examples of these two things in games you're watching, and think about:
- how do you create overloads?
- which players take advantage of them?
- which areas of the pitch do players dribble with the ball?
- is there a difference between dribbling, and running with the ball?

We are looking for advanced / intermediate players to join a voluntary managers group to help manage and support with the Thursday/Thursday beginners Super5s games and Sunday beginners 7/5aside LaLiga games. If you are keen, please let Ciara Robinson know via the chat function on the app.
