This week’s Learning Goals is another football focused session, as Coach Josh and Flo Pollock take a look at what it takes to be a central midfielder, and consider the differences between a holding midfielder, a box to box midfielder, and playing as a #10. There may or may not be a special guest joining, so hope to see you there!
There will be football fitness on Sunday morning, so push your brunch plans back half an hour to make time for that.
Get in touch with the coaches via email if you have any questions > firstname.lastname@example.org
Our first quarterly magazine has been published! You can read it here. A special thangs to the mag team (Emma MAGnus, Ciara Robinson and Anastasia Kuchta) as well as all the goals who contributed.
You can purchase a print copy until May 31. All profits will be donated to the Hackney Migrant Centre.
You may have heard that some frontline NHS staff are facing shortages of masks, gowns etc. You can donate any idle masks, gowns, gloves, eye protection and other personal protective equipment (PPE) for frontline NHS workers via Med Supply Drive UK.
Any GDFC members who are frontline staff can also request PPE here.
