Coach Ciara's player of the week was Adday and the winners of the tournament were the blue team!

Founder Fleur won ethos of the week for the PUREST of vibes. We love you!

Our team clinched a splendid 0-2 victory! Kate and River's goals were absolutely brilliant, and Gaia's solid defense and accurate passes down the line rightfully earned her the Player of the Match award. Let's raise a cheer for our outstanding captain, Kate, for leading us to this fantastic win! Well played, everyone!

This week saw the return of Sunday Advanced 7’s and what a return!

A win and a draw for the squad this week.

1 incredible solo goal from Captain Alisha and an incredible volley from a corner from Paula saw us win 2-1 in the first match and an incredible defensive performance from the entire back line assured we took a 0-0 draw in the second game.

Player(s!) of the week from Captain Alisha go to Mylinh for incredible running all across the pitch and some incisive defence splitting passes; she was everywhere from defence to attack and was key in ensuring possession as well! 2nd POTW went to LHH for ‘great communication and utter chaos’ (I’m assuming in a good way…) and only conceding one goal across 2 games, meaning we took 4 from 6 points this week! (thank you to the entire team for keeping the shots at bay!)

We got our first win of the season! An absolutely dominating performance from GDFC throughout. So proud of how far this group has come. We deserved this moment (and in the sunshine!)

Handing over to Nina for a Captain’s report:

As Georgia says, a massive performance and a well deserved win for the team! I want to shout out everyone for working so hard for this victory and all playing a role. We took G’s structure and Coach Ransford’s pointers and really ran with it, scoring some amazing goals playing out from the back. Mylinh never stopped running, and was my POTM for some beautiful play up top! Lilly was the coach’s POTM for a battling and assured performance in her first 11s! And Katie was fan’s POTM for growing in confidence with every game and putting everything in it for the team. Well done everyone, see you all at the next one yeah??

Dogs and scarves of the week

Moni’s brief return to London was celebrated with captaincy of Legends’ Sunday 5s. Her POTM went to Annabel for scoring a cracking goal and almost losing a finger to the treacherous Colombo fence!
